Tranquility in a protected Landscape. 30 hectares of vineyards (27 ha - red grapes; 3 ha - white grapes), situated in a valley of sandy soil, orientated east west, permitting sun exposure almost all day long. Situated on a flat plain, the vineyard is slightly above sea level in the middle of an ecological reserve, which benefits from a particular micro climate. The temperature is mild due to the ocean’s proximity, providing excellent grape growing conditions, which results in excellent concentrated and balanced grapes. The vineyard was planted in "Bacelo bravo” in 2001 and grafted in the following year, making 2003 its first production year. The types of grapes for red wine include Aragonez, Trincadeira, Alicante Bouschet and Touriga Franca, and for the white wines Arinto and Antão Vaz. The care and treatments made throughout the year, within an integrated protection regime, guarantee totally healthy grapes. On the other hand, the low production controlled by pruning and thinning bunches, carried out with great precision, guarantee a product of great quality.
